I'll start off with myself, my name is Shanta Strachan. I am a born and bred Jamaican residing in the US with my husband and blessed to be called 'Mom' by my adorable 4-year-old son.
I enjoy traveling, though I don't do it as much as my heart desires. The past 3 years have shown me, even more, the importance of going after my passion and doing more of what I enjoy most. So you will be hearing more about my travels in future blogs! If you need to know anything about orchids, I'm your go-to! Plants are everything to me, especially orchids. I was a member of the Orchid Society in Jamaica and enjoyed being part of exhibits and educating people about the history of orchids.
So much more to share, but expect this page to be a mix of work-life balance! We are all pursuing our career goals but at the end of the day, we are doing this to enjoy more of the life we want and love. I am excited and looking forward to all that is to come.
